Quality Level C: Utility Visible Surface Feature Surveys
Quality Level D: Records Research/ Data Collection
We utilize a combination of civil engineering, surveying, GIS, electromagnetic, ground penetrating radar (GPR), and nondestructive excavation to provide the most accurate information for our clients to help them in making informed and timely decisions. Our SUE professionals operate in accordance with ASCE 38-02 Standard Guidelines for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data addressing the four different Quality Levels, or any combination thereof, to meet our client’s specific and unique needs.
Our utility designating and locating group is cross trained with our surveying group allowing us to offer complete turn-key services thereby eliminating the hassle with coordination between multiple contractors. In most cases, our utility crew also surveys the utilities reducing the wait time for data delivery. We can deliver data files in AutoCAD or Microstation format. Our comprehensive SUE services give our clients the opportunity to make informed decisions during the design phase as well as mitigate and manage utility risks on projects to reduce utility conflicts, construction delays, and redesign costs.
